Beer sales are coming to various grocery locations around Ontario this December. But MPP for Parry Sound Muskoka Norm Miller says that doesn’t mean Muskoka will be in that first wave.
Miller says the sale of beer in local grocers comes with a rule, it can’t be implemented in a municipality with less than 30,000 residents and he is currently working to have this restriction removed.
Miller says this is a detriment to local breweries that could benefit from the 20 per cent craft beer sales rule.
He is currently running a petition on his website to remove the restriction from the beer sales.
