Search crews find three missing snowshoers

Three missing people have been found in Seguin Township. On Wednesday just after 11am, three people from the GTA and a dog went on a snowshoeing trip in Seguin Township. The group dressed according to the weather and packed enough food for the day, but by 5 o’clock had still not arrived at their destination. One member had a cell phone and was able to call for help. Search crews used snow machines, snowshoes and a Police Canine Unit to help find them. Just after 4am this morning the 3 parties were found in the woods. The group had built a fire to keep them warm while they waited to be found.
