Airport receives FedNor funding to expand

Our airport continues to grow.  Our MP Tony Clement announced almost $500,000 in FedNor funding to extend road, water, sewer, hydro, and fire suppression services to the Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport’s Industrial Park.  The expansion is needed to allow Superior Propane to break ground in the spring to build a bulk delivery and transfer station.  Ontario General Manager for Superior David Passador explains what that means for customers in the Parry Sound area.

This is phase six at the airport and Seguin Township councillor and airport commission chair Doug Sainsbury tells us that there is more to come.

The airport commission hopes to continue to expand to bring businesses and jobs to the Parry Sound area.
