MP hosts pre-budget consultations in Parry Sound and Bracebridge

Our MP has been busy this past week taking with local businesses to hear ideas on this year’s federal budget.  Tony Clement hosted two pre-budget consultation sessions last week; one at the Knights Inn in Parry Sound, the other at Nipissing University in Bracebridge.  Clement says the economy is Canadian’s number one concern and that is why the Conservative Government wants to hear from Canadians on how to better position Canada for further job creation and economic growth.  Budget 2014 will focus on job creation, promoting economic growth, and securing Canada’s long-term prosperity –  all while returning to balanced budgets in 2015.  You can have your say on what you think should be included in the 2014 budget through a pre-budget consultation on the federal finance department website www.fin.gc.ca.
