An investigation is underway after human remains were discovered in Springwater Township. Huronia West OPP were called after the remains were discovered by a resident walking their dog in a section of Simcoe County Forest around noon on Wednesday. Various investigation units have been called in to assist with police. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for the remains in Toronto on Friday. Police will release more details as they become available.
