West Parry Sound is reminding everyone to be careful when it comes to door-to-door sales. Police say last week, they received a call about a salesman testing water in Parry Sound. The salesman wanted permission to test for high levels of calcium and minerals in the water. They are continuing to remind everyone that door-to-door sales people are not allowed in your home without your consent. If you are interested in the product, read the fine print and ask the salesperson for a business card to verify their credentials. If you feel you could become a victim of fraud contact police immediately.
