One man is dead and five people are left with injuries following a collision on Highway 11 over the weekend. The two-vehicle crash happened just outside Severn Bridge at the Southwood Road exit in the southbound lane on Saturday. Both vehicles caught fire and the driver of one vehicle was killed, according to Bracebridge OPP. The five people in the other vehicle all received injuries and were taken to hospital. Police are still investigating the exact cause of the collision and the name of the victim has not been released as police are working to notify family.
