A new logo has been selected for the District of Parry Sound Municipal Association. The members were asked to reach out to their communities and submit a logo that would provide the association with a visual identity and image, positively placing it on the radar at the various provincial and federal ministry levels. There were 19 logos submitted and presented at the spring meeting held Friday in Kearney and the membership voted for their favourite. The winning logo came from Machar Township and was created by Rhya Smith, a Grade 12 student at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School. Below are all the submissions members voted on.
