Police, fireman and Township of Muskoka Lakes officials are holding an event all about water safety. On Friday, Boating and Water Safety Day kicks off at noon at Hannah Park in Port Carling. Officials will be on hand to answer questions and give demonstrations about safety both on vessels and in the water. Kids will have lots of fun activities to take part in and there will be a rescue demonstration as well.
