Town staff researching how other municipalities fared clearing snow

The Town of Parry Sounds is looking for better ways to remove snow.  At last night’s meeting, council directed staff to look into other municipalities and how they dealt with the increased amount of snow we received this winter.  They are expected to bring back a report in April.  Meanwhile, Operations Director Peter Brown says the public works department is working to get infrastructure and machinery ready to take care of the spring melt to try and avoid as much flood of the roads as possible.
