West Parry Sound OPP’s new Detachment Commander likes what he sees so far.
Staff Sergeant Mike Gordon was announced as the new Detachment Commander last week to take over for Ron Campbell. Gordon says he likes what he’s seen from the officers.
He has experience in large urban centres as well as traffic detachments and hopes to focus on the big four.
Gordon says the local detachment has a great reputation among all North East Region detachment.
He says he’s excited to be a part of this community as he’s spent the last 28 years as a seasonal resident and is now looking to become a long-time permanent resident.
