Police have charged the driver who took out a hydro pole in Parry Sound.
Around 1:00pm yesterday afternoon, West Parry Sound OPP, Parry Sound Fire Department, and Parry Sound EMS were called to Church Street where a pickup truck crashed through a hydro pole.
The 73-year-old driver was uninjured, but he did receive a ticket for careless driving.
Lakeland Power arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, but needed to leave the scene to call for locates, conduct switching, and gather materials. Â Power was lost to a number of homes throughout the afternoon and evening.
