West Parry Sound OPP are reminding motorists about a new law that took effect this year involving pedestrians crossing the street. Police say drivers and cyclists have to wait until the person has finished crossing before they can move ahead. However the new law doesn’t apply at crosswalks with traffic lights or stop signs. Police are putting out the reminder after getting reports of some concerns at local crosswalks.
