Leon says being distracted can be anything from texting, talking on the phone or even eating.

If caught you will be fined $155, but that will jump to $280 by March 18th. Not only will police ramp up efforts to stop distracted driving, Leon says they won`t be able to do it alone. He says citizens can help.
