Midland native Joe Roberts brings his “Push For Change” into Parry Sound today. Joe as a youth found himself homeless and with the help of others, in particular his mother and a police officer managed to escape homelessness and prosper. So now he’s paying it back pushing a symbol of homelessness, a shopping cart across the country to raise funds and awareness of youth homelessness. He’ll meet with students at Parry Sound High School starting at 12:30. Then meet with the public from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at District Social Services on Church Street.
