Midland native Joe Roberts brought his “Push For Change” into Parry Sound yesterday. Joe as a youth found himself homeless
But with the help of others, in particular his mother and a police officer – he managed to escape homelessness and prosper.
So now he’s paying it back pushing a symbol of homelessness, a shopping cart – across the country to raise funds and awareness of youth homelessness.
Unfortunately the meeting with students at Parry Sound High School was cancelled, but he still met with the public from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at District Social Services on Church Street.
