Police warn about crumbling ice in the ice caves

Police are warning the public about the ice surface near and on the North West shoreline of Giant’s Tomb Island north of Tiny Township. The warmer weather and sunshine is causing the ice caves along the shoreline to become weaker and they’re starting to crumble down. You could become trapped or crushed by falling ice in and near these caves and anyone visiting should stay clear as warmer days approach.
