Franklin Challenge opens for registration

Registration for the Franklin Challenge is now open. The Franklin Challenge is a paddling trip around the Franklin Island put on by White Squall.
The challenge has three routes planned: a 20km, eight km, and five km trip. The event has a $50 minimum donation to register. Registration is open until June 19th.
Proceeds from the event are being donated to the Treetops Community Forest, a non-profit dedicated to putting together a 2.3 acre community space in Parry Sound on Beatty Street. The event will kick off at 7 a.m. and will run until 3 p.m.
