Community Living Parry Sound moves ahead with their “A Part of My Community” project.
The Parry Sound charity will receive a grant of six thousand dollars from Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, a collaboration between the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation and Community Foundations of Canada.
As part of the funding formula, Community Living will match the six thousand dollar grant.
Facilitation and Planning Co-ordinator Tricia Bain says the project is about humanity and inclusion, not social status.
Slated for March of next year, A Part of My Community will begin its consultation phase next month.
