The mayor and Parry Sound Town Council invite you to the Mayor’s New Year’s Levee this Sunday.
One of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of the Order of Parry Sound by Mayor Jamie McGarvey.
The mayor says choosing the recipient of the town’s highest honour for achievement was completely community based.
Mayor McGarvey also says the levee is an opportunity for members of council to present a review of 2017 to the community.
The event will feature entertainment by Jazz Aspect and a performance by The Little Spirit Singers from Wasauksing Kinomaugewgamik.
The mayor says the event is just a good time.
It all happens on Sunday, January 7th between noon and 2 PM in the Hart Trophy Room at the BOCC.
All are welcome and refreshments will be served.
