Community Living Parry Sound is moving ahead with their “A Part of My Community” project slated for March.
Organizers of the project will be holding their first planning meeting on Tuesday, January 9th.
A Part of My Community hopes to engage Parry Sound residents of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds in a deep conversation about belonging and inclusion.
Community Living Parry Sound Facilitation & Planning Coordinator Tricia Bain says it’s much more than just a project
Funding for the project is provided by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th.
Bain says a wide spectrum of the Parry Sound community has already been invited to participate in the first planning session.
A Part of My Community will build on the work of an earlier project, Cultivating a Friendly Parry Sound, that began in October.
