The final tally is in for The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign.
A total of $32,857 was collected across Parry Sound over the holidays.
All of the money raised will stay in the Parry Sound region helping families and individuals with programs year round.
It was an exceptional year for the Salvation Army across Canada as well.
Nationally, the Christmas Kettle Campaign raised $23.1 million, exceeding their goal of $21 million goal for 2017 and being the second highest total ever raised during the holidays.
