Fluoridation of Parry Sound’s drinking water is back in the spotlight.
The Town of Parry Sound has scheduled a public meeting on February 20th to be held at council’s regular meeting scheduled for that night.
The meeting is in regard to the clerk placing a question on the 2018 municipal ballot regarding fluoridation of the town’s water.
The public will have a chance to speak to it during the 30-minute deputation period.
Although Parry Sound Town Council has already passed a resolution requesting the clerk to put the question on the ballot, legislation requires the town have the public meeting.
The clerk is advising groups speaking to the subject that only one person representing the group will be allowed to address council.
Written submissions to council are encouraged.
