Police raid in Perry Township nets multiple drugs and cash

A drug bust in Almaguin Highlands winds up with four people facing charges.

A search warrant was executed by the OPP Community Street Crime Unit at a home in Perry Township on Friday, January 26th at about 4:00 pm.

Drugs found by police included:

  • 100 grams of cocaine
  • 75 grams of marijuana
  • cannabis oil
  • cannabis pills
  • methamphetamines

Police also seized $5200 in cash.

Charged with five counts each of drug trafficking is a 20-year-old man and 51-year-old woman, both from Perry Township.

As well, a 23-year-old Huntsville man and a 24-year-old Toronto man are facing the same charges.

All four have also been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

Both the Huntsville and Toronto men remain in custody and will appear in Parry Sound Court Thursday, February 1st.

The suspects from Perry Township were released will appear in Sundridge court on February 8th and 22nd.
