Two Parry Sound area town councils are sending representatives to a pool advisory committee.
McKellar and Seguin Townships each appointed a member of council to sit on the Recreational Advisory Complex Committee.
The committee will investigate and determine the feasibility of a recreational wellness and pool complex in Parry Sound.
Peter Istvan of the Ad-Hoc Wellness & Pool Committee spoke to both councils Monday night requesting they make the move.
The Ad-Hoc committee had previously requested the seven Parry Sound area councils put a question on their 2018 ballots regarding the pool.
Both McKellar and Sequin Town Councils rejected the idea of a question on the ballot and instead voted to directly put a member of council on the committee at council meetings Monday night.
Mayor Bruce Gibbon will represent Seguin on the committee.
