Operation Safe Trucking set for Parry Sound July 15th -21st

With 3600 transport truck related collisions on the books and 41 deaths, the ongoing campaign of enforcement with commercial vehicles renews in the Parry Sound area from today to 21st.

While the OPP recognizes a high percentage of commercial drivers stick to the rules, those that don’t can often have tragic consequences.

Police will be looking for things such as distracted and impaired driving, lack of seat belt use and non-compliance with hours of service paperwork.

The OPP will be focusing on these offences during Operation Safe Trucking
