Man sent to hospital after OPP responds to weapons call

The West Parry Sound OPP is investigating after an incident involving a gun.

Officers responded to a call on Country Lane in Seguin Township this morning.

With the assistance of the OPP’s Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Unmanned Aerial System, Crisis Negotiators, and Critical Incident Command,  a man was arrested and was taken to the hospital with injuries.

The OPP says that at this time, there is no threat to the public.
