A McDougall Township man has been charged with impaired driving.
It happened Friday night in Parry Sound. The OPP says it was alerted about a possible impaired driver on Bowes Street. A man was seen stumbling to his vehicle. Officers spoke to him just after 7:00pm and the OPP says they believed he’d been drinking.
The 39-year-old was arrested and faces three charges. On top of that, his vehicle was impounded for seven days. The OPP says there is no safe amount of drug or alcohol consumption when driving and that anyone who believes they’ve come across a drunk driver should call 911 immediately.
