PARRY SOUND, ON-The OPP has laid its first impaired driving charge of the New Year.
During routine patrol in McDougall Township on January 6th, West Parry Sound OPP stopped a vehicle and after speaking to the driver they determined that they were under the influence of a drug.
The OPP brought the 22-year-old from Toronto back to the station and they were given a 90-day licence suspension and the car was impounded for seven days.
The accused is set to appear in court on February 20th.
