As the result of planned talks scheduled for Monday (Feb.24th) the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association has called off strike actions planned for the week of February 24th.
OECTA says that recent talks with the Province had been meaningful.
Rotating strikes had been planned for Thursday. (Feb.27th) affecting the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic School Board schools and its students.
As a result of the cancellation all Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools will remain open this week
