The North Bay-Parry Sound Health Unit is confirming a new case of COVID-19.
According to the Nipissing Parry Sound COVID-19 Dashboard, one person has tested positive, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 17.
As of Friday’s update, 16 of those cases are fully resolved with one case currently in self-isolation.
The new case is the first in over a week.
The Health Unit adds that 1,814 tests have been performed – with 277 still pending results.
