A Lount Township man has been charged for driving impaired while on drugs.
This past Thursday, around 8:15 p.m., members of the Almaguin Highlands OPP Detachment, along with the Sundridge Fire Department and Parry Sound Emergency Services, responded to a single-vehicle collision on Albert Street North.
Police say they believe the driver was impaired by drugs and with the help of a Drug Recognition Expert, the 57-year-old man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs.
He has since been released from custody and will be before a judge in Sundridge at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
