A man from Springwater Township has been charged with impaired driving.
West Parry Sound OPP says on May 21, around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a car crash on Shebeshekong Road in Carling Township.
After speaking with the driver, officers discovered that alcohol had been consumed and as a result, the driver was arrested and taken to the local detachment for further testing.
After further investigation, police charged a 27-year-old man with driving while impaired and having a blood alcohol concentration over 80.
The man has been issued a 90-day licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded.
He will be at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on June 6 to answer for his charges.
