Parry Sound Food Banks are getting a boost thanks to local law enforcement.
On Saturday, officers from the West Parry Sound OPP collected food and other items in support of local food banks for their ‘Stuff-a’Cruiser’ event.
Following the event, the OPP says the community donated 1,053 pounds of food and over $1,800 in cash or gift cards.
The OPP is thanking students and staff at Parry Sound High School, who collected 187 pounds alone, along with $250.
Harvest Share says these donations will help many locals enjoy a happy holiday.Â
