West Parry Sound OPP arrest 33 year old wanted to October break-in

One person was arrested on January 1st and charged by West Parry Sound OPP in connection with a vehicle break-in and firearm theft.

In October, West Parry Sound OPP had asked for assistance to find a 33-year-old with no fixed address. This came after a warrant of arrest had been issued for her in connection to a break and enter of a motor vehicle and a steal a firearm occurrence from October 8th.

According to Wednesday’s release, the warrant of arrest was executed on the 1st with assistance from Barrie Police Service.

Randalyn LARMAND-COURRIERE was arrested and charged with a break and enter a motor vehicle and steal a firearm charge, a possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 charge, and a possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order charge.

LARMAND-COURRIERE is and has since been in custody, and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on January 6, 2021.

The OPP say they haven’t recovered the firearm involved request anyone having information in regards to the outstanding firearm to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or contact your nearest police authority.
