The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit added five more recoveries and two new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
All five recoveries and both new cases were reported in Nipissing bringing the district’s total active case count to nine.
No new cases or recoveries were reported in Parry Sound where two cases remain active.
The positive cases, now self-isolating, contracted the virus through close contact, with one between the ages of 20 and 39 years and the other between the ages of 60 to 79 years.
The health unit’s latest report shows 929 COVID-19 tests were done in the past day.
