Two individuals are facing charges after a stolen snowmobile was recovered on Tuesday.
The OPP’s West Parry Sound Detachment says officers patrolling Highway 400 in McDougall Township stopped a vehicle and initiated an investigation.
OPP then confirmed the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of a previously reported stolen snowmobile.
As a result, the driver, a 44-year-old Opasatika Township local, was arrested and is facing six charges ranging from possession of stolen property to speeding and is set to appear in court March 18th.
The passenger, a 46 years-old Southgate Township local, was also arrested and faces three charges with a court date set for April 15th.
