Two COVID-19 cases added in Parry Sound in Health Unit’s latest update

Two new cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.

Both are in Parry Sound.

Those join the five reported over the weekend between Nipissing in our region.

Five more preliminary results for a variant of concern were added along with three over the weekend.

Our region’s active case count is now at 14 with six of those in Parry Sound. One person is in hospital.

1,278 vaccine doses were administered since Friday. Over 35-percent of the adult population now has at least one dose, with over 37,000 total shots given.
