Ottawa is providing Lakeland Networks with over $700,000 in funding for a High-Speed Internet build on Wasauksing First Nation land.

Canada’s Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Rural Economic Development, Maryam Monsef made the announcement on Wednesday.
The $701,055 coming through Universal Broadband Funding, along with Lakeland Networks’ contribution of $84,195 will bring high-speed Internet to approximately 159 underserved households and businesses on Wasauksing First Nation land.
