Split The Pot fundraising lottery returns locally

51 hospitals in Ontario, including two locally, are benefiting from the latest Split The Pot Lottery.

The West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation is taking part in the fundraising initiative.

A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold is supporting hospital foundations, to help fund vital healthcare initiatives.

Officials say a successful pilot campaign last fall exceeded expectations with this draw including a guaranteed minimum $500,000 jackpot.

They say it will be divided among 13 grand prize winners.

There are also 26 chances to win a total of $76,000 in early bird prizes.
