The Parry Sound Goodfellows Masonic Lodge 748 and the local Shriners Club are making a splash, and supporting the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre project.
The organizations helped kick off the “Let’s Make a Splash” fundraising campaign in mid-June with a $5,000 donation.
Masonic Lodge member Gary Bauer says the project perfectly aligns with the organizations goals.
“The rec centre and pool fits into the Masonic goals and concepts of support for the wellbeing of our families, our community, youth and elders, our schools and hospital and our individual needs for a well-balanced, healthy and harmonious life,” said Bauer.
The pool fundraising campaign, in partnership with The Moose, will run until late November. Every dollar raised, up to $100,000, will be matched by an anonymous donor.
