The fire danger rating across the Parry Sound District will remain high through the weekend.
That’s according to Carling Fire Chief Gord Harrison, who announced that there would be no change to the rating earlier today.
With a high rating campfires are still permitted. However, no open burning is allowed, no fireworks are allowed, and all burn permits are suspended.
