West Parry Sound OPP arrested a 31-year-old Norfolk County man following a search in Nobel on Aug. 8.
Police say local officers, with assistance from the OPP Emergency Response Team, canine unit and aviation services began a search for a suspicious person around 6 p.m..
Police say a stolen vehicle from southern Ontario was recovered and that a 31-year-old fled and was later arrested.
The man is facing seven charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief and theft under $5,000.
He was held for bail and will appear in Parry Sound court on Aug. 15.
