Police have determined the identity of the human remains discovered in McDougall Township.
The OPP says the remains found on Aug. 12 on a property on Avro Arrow Road have been identified as a 56-year-old female reported missing to the York Regional Police (YRP) a few days earlier.
The investigation is being led by York Regional police, and is still on-going. Additional information on the investigation can be accessed on the YRP website.
