Real estate listings increased across the Parry Sound and Muskoka region year-over-year in August, while home sales decreased.
That’s according to the Lakeland’s Association of Realtors, which says 1,269 homes were on the market last month – up 14 per cent from August 2023.
Home sales decreased 12 per cent over that same period, with 171 homes sold across Lakelands North.
The median price of homes sold was $625,000 down nearly 20 per cent compared to last August.
The Lakelands North region includes Parry Sound, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville and surrounding townships.
