The Parry Sound Fire Department will be conducting live fire training from Oct. 23 to 26.
Residents in the area of the water treatment plant and salt docks are may notice fire and smoke Wednesday evening through to Saturday.
Officials say local firefighters will be using a mobile live fire training unit, which utilizes fire and smoke props and gives firefighters a safe space to hone their skills.
