Parry Sound has a new superior court judge.
Robin A. Bellows, a criminal defence lawyer in Muskoka, was appointed a judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario in Parry Sound, yesterday.
Bellows has operated her own practice in Hunstville since 2007, and has been the President of the Parry Sound Law Association since 2021.
She replaces Justice J. Stothart who was transferred to Sudbury.
“I wish Justice Bellows every success as (she) takes on (her) new role. I am confident (she) will serve Ontarians well as a member of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario,” said Arif Virani, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.
