Crews are continuing to make progress on the construction of the West Parry Sound Recreation and Cultural Centre.
That’s according to Jason Homewood of Ball Construction, who says approximately one-third of the foundation work has been completed.
He says installation of the structural steel frame will start in January and work on the building walls and roof will begin in late February.
“From a construction standpoint, we are 100% full steam ahead. There are no delays in our progress. We’ve started and we are not stopping,” said Homewood.

The projects targeted completion date is mid-March of 2026.
Homewood says the projects budget remains unchanged at $39.3 million with 95% of total hard costs tendered.
