A North Bay resident has been charged with several weapons-related counts after provincial police were called to a disturbance at a Parry Sound hotel.
The West Parry Sound OPP says the incident happened on Dec. 29.
They say when officers arrived a person fled on foot but was taken into custody shortly after.
A 28-year-old from North Bay faces four charges, including possession of a loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm and possession of break-in instruments.
The accused was held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound and is scheduled to appear on January 6, 2025.
