The Township of Seguin will be providing over $28,000 in donations to a variety of community groups and organizations.
At a meeting on Feb. 3, council approved a list of 16 donations ranging from $150 to $3,000. They include:
- Humphrey School Graduation – $150
- PSHS prize for top Seguin student – $500
- Maple Lake Club – $585
- Humphrey Soccer – $1,000
- 295 MacPherson Squadron cadets – $1,000
- EMS Toy Drive – $1,000
- Georgian Jumpers – $1,300
- Rotary 3-pitch tournament – $1,750
- Safe Quiet Lakes – $2,000
- Ardeleana Chamber Music – $3,000
- Seguin Mail Run – $3,000
- Festival of the Sound – $3,000
- Sunday Night Hockey – $3,000
- Rosseau Horticultural Society – $3,000
